Enphase Energy Begins Shipments of IQ Gateway Fusion in India, Powering Homes with Solar Even During Power Cuts

FREMONT, Calif., Oct. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Enphase Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: ENPH), a global energy technology company, today announced that it began production shipments of its new IQ^® Gateway Fusion in India. The compact system works with IQ8™ Microinverters to power homes with solar and keep essential appliances running during daytime power cuts, even without a home battery.

IQ Gateway Fusion combines the IQ^® Gateway, IQ^® Relay, and a built-in power socket in a single unit. With Enphase Sunlight Backup, the system keeps loads plugged into the socket running on solar when the grid goes down, including home UPS systems, refrigerators, electric scooters, and more. For the millions of Indian households that rely on a UPS during outages, IQ Gateway Fusion can be paired with UPS batteries with solar during the day. This extends backup runtime and reduces how much the UPS draws from the grid. If a power cut runs through the night and drains the UPS, the system starts recharging it with sunlight the next morning, even if the grid is still down. When the grid is up, the system powers home loads with solar and exports excess energy to the grid to help lower electricity bills.

Each IQ Gateway Fusion supports up to 3,680 W of output with up to seven IQ8P™ or nine IQ8HC™ Microinverters. Homeowners can start small and expand over time. The IP65-rated unit fits on terraces, small rooftops, and compact homes. Installers can set it up quickly with simple cabling and commissioning through the Enphase^® Installer App. Homeowners can monitor production and system health from anywhere with the Enphase^® App.
